My father late Mohan Patil was a teacher.

The institution has sown its seed with handful of 150 students & today there are more than 8000 students taking education in English & Marathi medium from Pre- primary to Jr. College.

Shamal Mohan Patil Education Society was established with the intention of providing good quality education to the children of common people while studying in a very difficult condition. Kalamboli Colony is mainly inhabited by laborers and hardworking people. An English medium school was started so that the children of the laborers could get English education. A large number of students from lower production groups study in New English School run by Shamal Mohan Patil Education Society. Many of them have achieved fame in various fields. A junior college was established at this place. In 2001, Kalamboli, a Marathi medium school was started. Thousands of students are studying in schools of both mediums. Expert teachers do the work of imparting knowledge here. Our institution has always maintained the importance of information and technology and modern education. For this, teachers are trained through experienced persons in this field. Shamal Mohan Patil Education Society has two spacious buildings. More than ten thousand students are taking knowledge lessons here. Our educational complex has an area of 13 thousand square meters. One lakh Seven Thousand square feet has been constructed. Modern facilities have been created in our school. Spacious computer and science labs as well as yoga and exercise facilities are provided in the educational complex. Our school has a bright tradition of examination results in both Marathi and English medium schools. 10th and 12th students pass with very good marks. All safety measures and precautions are taken at this place. Security is provided to the students through Mahila Vigilance Committee. A woman police officer has been specially appointed for this purpose. CCTV cameras have been installed in the educational complex.
